The Stena Metall Group 2010/2011
2010/2011 brought with it an increase in both sales volumes and market shares. This was despite tight competition and widespread economic uncertainty.The Stena Metall Group’s profit was SEK 525 million before tax, an increase of 16 percent compared with the previous financial year year.

Highlights
- Record profits for Stena Aluminium and Stena Recycling in Norway and Poland.
- The acquisition of an Italian electronics recycler makes us a market leader in Italy.
- Stena Solutions, a total waste management concept, was introduced to customers in Sweden and is scheduled for launch in all of the Group’s recycling markets.
- A dedicated safety program with the vision of “Making Stena accident free” continued with success in most areas. A new recycling branch concept was opened outside Stockholm and achieved great success.
An extensive trainee program was launched to guarantee future access to competent employees.
